The handpiece of the laser device is systematically guided over the treatment area, targeting and damaging the pigment present in the active hair follicles, without damaging surrounding tissue. The headpiece also delivers a cooling spray to protect the top skin layers. Following the procedure you may notice some redness or minor swelling that may take a few days to disappear. In the following few days the hairs will shed. You can apply makeup immediately and resume normal activities.
Hair has cycles of rest and activity. This process effects only active growing hairs. Additional treatments are usually necessary for the best result.
